Job summary

Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home-based team serving Garland and Richardson, Texas. You will deliver in-home pediatric therapy, coordinate goals with families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to build holistic care plans.

Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, maintaining thorough documentation, and regularly updating parents on progress and goals within a supportive, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Valid, active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans per physician orders.
• Provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients with diverse diagnoses.
• Communicate progress and goals with families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop holistic plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for care and changes.
• Attend one-on-one meetings with PT Supervisor/team leads.

Responsibilities:

• Implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with PT Supervisor/team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
