Job summary

WeCare Centers at Sugar Creek Care Center in Franklin, PA is actively seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our community. The PTA helps residents improve their mobility and move forward in an outpatient setting.

The role collaborates with the physical therapy team to tailor treatments, support exercise programs, and monitor patient progress, contributing to a supportive and growth‑oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current State PTA license.
• Outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Preparing patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training.
• Recording patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment.
• Using assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
