Job summary

University of Southern California seeks a Therapy Aide to support direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of therapists and department leadership. You will assist with scheduling, referrals, treatment setup, and clerical tasks, ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include organizing charts, maintaining treatment areas, and supporting the care team. This role requires adherence to safety and infection control protocols and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Req High school or equivalent.
• Relate problems to supervising therapist any problems with patients or department operations.
• Capable of reading policy and procedure manual and applying to duties.
• Capable of demonstrating compliance with safety, hazardous waste and infection control procedures.
• Capable of working assigned shifts, overtime when approved, and weekends if requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapist with scheduling and patient referrals.
• Prepare schedules, tags, and treatment setup for sessions.
• Maintain organization of charts and treatment areas before and after therapy.
• Support department operations including supplies, linen, and clerical tasks.
• Document communications and treatment responses with therapists.
