Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in preparation for treatment.
• Apply therapeutic modalities per department policies and procedures.
• Instruct patients in ambulation aids, transfer techniques, and supportive devices as delegated by the therapist.
• Assist physical therapist and physical therapy assistants with procedures and treatments when requested.
• Document treatment given to patient; update medical records as needed.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment; restock linens and supplies.
• Provide therapeutic exercise instruction with focus on biomechanics.
• Perform light back office/clerical duties and complete timesheets daily.
• Maintain regular attendance and contribute to patient satisfaction metrics.
• Speak, read, and write in Spanish proficiently.
