Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists, prep treatment areas, and help patients during exercises. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to physical therapy workflows in a collaborative environment.

You will assist with patient check-in, scheduling, and documentation while promoting efficient care. A background in healthcare or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Preferred: healthcare experience in PT, medical roles, or related fields.
• Preferred: Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning treatment areas, and setting up and adjusting exercise equipment for PTs.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their home exercise programs.
