Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Athens, GA. You will provide comprehensive PT services, conduct evaluations, and tailor treatments to restore function and reduce pain across all age groups.

This role requires a Georgia PT license (or compact privileges) and BCLS certification. Experience preferred; CEU maintenance per state regulations is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS/MS/DPT)
• Must maintain CEU's as required by the State
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA required
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or Georgia compact privileges
• 2 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.

Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred
