Job summary

CoxHealth Center Nixa is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess and treat patients with orthopedic or neurologic conditions, developing a detailed Plan of Care and treatment plan. The role emphasizes achieving functional goals and coordinating with the team to maximize mobility and comfort.

The position requires Missouri licensure, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a day shift setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Active Missouri licensure for Physical Therapy is required (temporary licensure not accepted).
• No prior experience required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and human relations skills are essential.

As a part of their assessment, the therapist will develop objective and functional goals, a detailed Plan of Care, and a list of appropriate treatments and will work with all appropriate resources to carry out the Plan of Care and treatment. The Therapists is responsible to plan and implement prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services including, but not limited to, mobility devices, counseling and orientation that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.Job RequirementsEducation: Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Physical TherapyExperience: No prior experience requiredSkills: Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required.
