Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct rehab care at our Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will work under physician referrals with adherence to standards and regulations, delivering patient-centered therapy and supporting an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an accredited PT degree (BSPT/MSPT/DPT), active licensure, CPR certification, and usually one year of experience, though new grads are welcome. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (BSPT/MSPT/DPT).
• Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in the applicable state.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and collaborate on an interdisciplinary team.
