Job summary

Athena Health Care Systems is seeking Physical Therapists to join The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill. The role involves patient assessment, care planning, and direct treatment within a rehab caseload as part of a clinical team.

Positions available full-time, part-time, and per diem with weekly pay up to $55/hour and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Candidates must hold a PT degree and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Ability to interact effectively with all staff and customers.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients/residents and evaluate needs.
• Develop and adjust care plans for residents.
• Perform direct resident treatment per plan of care.
• Contribute to team meetings and decision making.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis.
• Document activities per the clinical documentation system.
• Understand Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, residents, teammates, customers, and supervisor.
• Provide consultation to the facility and participate in program development.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
