The ideal candidate will hold a BS or higher in Physical Therapy, be licensed with IDFPR, and complete BLS within 30 days, with ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist with IDFPR.
• BLS certification within 30 days - AHA.
• Continuing education related to acute stroke care required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients with plan of care.
• Designs care plans aligning goals, outcomes, and discharge needs.
• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective methods.
• Performs examination and selects appropriate assessment techniques.
• Documents care per policy and EMR requirements.
• Screens patients for therapy needs and adjusts care accordingly.
• Collaborates with support personnel and monitors care delivery.
