Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Philadelphia seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to plan, implement and evaluate individualized treatment programs to improve function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction. You will perform initial exams, document progress and adjust therapy as needed while ensuring safe, ethical practice.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians, supervise students, and document outcomes to support ongoing care and outcomes measurement.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and license.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment.
• Perform and document an initial exam and diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust plans to maximize benefit.
• Administer manual exercises, massage or traction to relieve pain or improve strength.
• Instruct patients and families for home continuation of treatment.
• Confer with patient, physicians and others to plan and assess the intervention.
• Review referrals and medical records to determine required therapy.
• Record prognosis, treatment and progress in patient charts or system.
