Job summary

Good Shepherd is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to assess and plan rehabilitative care for patients with rehabilitation needs, work with physicians and care teams in Allentown, PA. The role emphasizes documenting interventions, updating care plans, and educating patients and families.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, outpatient experience, and a current Physical Therapist license, plus BLS/CPR certification; eligible for flu program participation

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Work Experience: Previous outpatient experience or similar setting required.
• Licenses / Certifications: Physical Therapist license required.
• Basic Life Support / CPR, as a healthcare provider, per the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition upon order of physician and at regular intervals during assigned shift.
• Integrate patient information to facilitate holistic patient care.
• Plans, implements and evaluates rehabilitative care.
• Set goals, collaborate and communicate with health-care team, patients and families.
• Document interventions and responses.
