Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network in Levittown, PA is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time role with day and evening shifts. You will plan and implement individualized physical therapy programs, evaluate patient progress, and collaborate with physicians to optimize care.

Responsibilities include documenting outcomes and guiding patients and families in home-treatment plans. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, a current PT license, and BLS/CPR certification.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Physical Therapist license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed physical therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning.
• Perform and document initial exams to identify problems and determine diagnoses.
• Evaluate effects of treatment and adjust plans to maximize benefit.
• Administer manual exercises, massage or traction to relieve pain and improve strength.
• Instruct patients and families for home treatment continuity.
• Confer with patients and medical staff to plan and assess intervention programs.
• Review referrals and records to determine necessary treatment.
• Document prognosis, treatment and progress.
• Obtain informed consent for proposed interventions.
• Discharge patients with follow-up care or referrals.

Educación

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

Master's Degree preferred

Physical Therapist license
