Supervisory duties may include PTAs and interns. Documentation and discharge planning are required aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT in Florida with active license.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates empathy and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Assess and Plan of Care and Treatment.
• Evaluate patient's status and physical therapy problems using objective and subjective measures.
• Develop and adjust treatment program based on patient goals and abilities.
• Consult with physicians and rehab team to design coordinated plan.
• Perform patient treatment with appropriate PT interventions.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, discharge recommendations and home programs.
• Supervise PT assistants, therapy aides, and interns as needed.
• Prepare patient for discharge with caregiver instruction and written home programs.
