Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess residents, develop rehabilitation plans, and guide exercises to improve strength and flexibility. You will consult with patients, provide encouragement, and document treatment progress within the facility.

The role requires supervising support staff, maintaining accurate records, and delivering in-service education to staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Enjoy educating residents and their families as part of rehabilitation.
• Ability to supervise PTA’s and PT Aides within a rehab program.

Responsibilities

• Consult with residents to develop individual rehabilitation plans.
• Teach exercises to strengthen or stretch muscles and alleviate pain.
• Provide encouraging support throughout treatment.
• Supervise and train PTA’s and PT Aides.
• Evaluate residents within one business day of referral and document treatments for billing and charting.
• Provide in-service education to facility staff and students.
