Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX, is hiring a day shift, full-time Wound Care/Mobility Physical Therapist (PT). You will work within a team to assess wounds and mobility needs, document examinations, and develop plans of care focused on functional outcomes. Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Previous acute care or clinic experience preferred; prior wound care and mobility assessment experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Mix of wound care and acute care mobility assessments.
• Provide and document examinations and evaluations.
• Establish functional PT diagnoses, prognoses and plans of care.
• Formulate treatment goals and provide physical therapy interventions.
• Measure and report outcomes; carry out discharge plans.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff or students.
• Collaborate with other professionals; comply with Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.

• This position will primarily be responsible for a mix of wound care and acute care mobility assessments
• Provide and document examinations and evaluations
