Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Wound Care/Mobility Physical Therapist to join BSA Hospital. You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and relocation assistance.

At BSA Hospital, a 445-bed facility with over 120 years of service, you will conduct wound care and mobility assessments, establish PT diagnoses and plans, document evaluations, and collaborate with a high-performing team to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Mix of wound care and acute care mobility assessments.
• Provide and document examinations and evaluations.
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses and plans of care.
• Formulate treatment goals.
• Provide physical therapy intervention to patients.
• Measure and report outcomes.
• Formulate and carry out discharge plans.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students.
• Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals.
• Comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.

Preferred Job Requirements
