Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting a weekend Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Slate Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Granville, New York. Our therapists provide rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym alongside compassionate professionals.

We offer mentorship, clinical support, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career growth. Evening and weekend hours are available, with weekly pay and recognition for your contributions.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current New York State PT license is required.

Mansioni

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Assist residents with daily tasks and monitor performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with legal and professional requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal resident care.

Duties of an exceptional therapist include:

• Evaluate residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort

PT Requirements Include:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current New York State PT License
