Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab in Canandaigua, NY is recruiting a weekend Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The role offers mentorship, clinical support, and flexible weekend hours with opportunities for growth and weekly pay.

As part of our rehab team, you will evaluate residents, design rehabilitation plans, relieve pain through exercise and hands-on therapy, supervise PT assistants, and maintain confidentiality while complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect the facility by keeping information confidential.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program

Current New York State PT License
