Job summary

Ardent in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Therapy Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate patients, establish plans of care, and deliver prescribed therapy in line with APTA standards and Kansas licensure. You will supervise clinical support staff, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including the KU Health System St.

Francis Campus, and contribute to ongoing professional development while promoting evidence-based PT services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and delivers prescribed care.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development; reports to department leader.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience
• Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office
