Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and delivers prescribed care per APTA standards and Kansas practice act.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development across the organization; reports to department leader.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of prac tice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and communi ty. Reports to the assigned leader of department .
