Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a full-time Therapy Physical Therapist (PT) for day shift. The role focuses on evaluating patients, creating care plans, and delivering prescribed therapy in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications include a Physical Therapy degree, KS license, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preference given to candidates with advanced PT degrees and IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Kansas is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire, before direct patient care.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations and establishes plans of care.
• Delivers prescribed care to assigned patients per APTA standards and Kansas practice act.
• Provides direction and supervision to clinical support staff.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Active Physical Therapy license in Kansas

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of prac tice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and communi ty. Reports to the assigned leader of department .

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy .
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience
• Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office
