MedStar Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Bel Air MACC - Therapy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy, utilizing varied evaluation and treatment approaches, and possess excellent customer service and communication skills for interacting with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
The Physical Therapist will provide services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, discharge planning, and documentation across various settings. They will also participate in program planning, protocol development, and team goal achievement.

Provide evaluation services, review historical information, perform assessments, and document results. Explain findings and involve patients and families in goal setting.
Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, consult with healthcare professionals, and recognize when modifications are necessary.
Complete discharge planning, document care activities accurately and timely, and provide a clear picture of the patient's course of care.
Manage time effectively, meet productivity expectations, and demonstrate flexibility and empathy to ensure patient access to care.
Pursue continuing education for professional growth, serve as a clinical instructor, and assist in orientation and mentoring of staff and students.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
Licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia, and/or Virginia as required for the specific location.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
This position offers a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041.
