General Summary of Position
MedStar Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Federal Hill MACC - Therapy. The ideal candidate will be a licensed physical therapist with professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy, demonstrating varied evaluation and treatment approaches, customer service skills, and effective communication.
The Physical Therapist provides services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and documentation across various settings. They participate in program planning, protocol development, and team goal achievement.

Provides evaluation services, reviews pertinent information, conducts assessments, and documents results. Explains findings and involves patients and families in goal setting.
Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, consults with healthcare professionals, and recognizes changes requiring plan modifications.
Completes discharge planning, documents and charges for care activities, and maintains clear records of the patient's care course.
Manages time effectively, meets productivity expectations, and demonstrates professionalism and empathy to ensure patient access to care.
Engages in continuing education, serves as a clinical instructor, and mentors staff, students, and volunteers.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
Licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia, and/or Virginia as required.
American Heart Association’s BLS CPR certification.
Minimum qualifications include the ability to perform the primary duties effectively. The hiring range for this position is $72,758 - $130,041.
