Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist for PRN days to support patients at home in Florence, SC. You will help patients maintain and improve movement and function, perform reexaminations, adjust therapies, and plan discharges.

Requirements: current PT license in the state, CAPTE-accredited degree, CPR certification; 1 year of PT experience preferred for home health, mentoring available if needed. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PT program.
• One year related physical therapy experience for home health care.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders and mentoring participate in a residency program.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
• Current CPR certification.
