Job summary

Amedisys Home Health in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time daytime role. You will help patients maintain, restore and improve movement and function, perform regular reexaminations, adapt interventions, and complete discharge planning.

Eligible candidates hold state licensure, CAPTE-accredited degree, and CPR certification; home health experience preferred. The compensation range is $120,000 to $135,000 per year with comprehensive benefits, paid

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of PT experience in home health preferred; if less, mentoring/approval required.

• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations at least every 30 days, modify interventions as needed, and perform discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provides interventions, conducts reexaminations (every 30 days, at minimum), modifies interventions as necessary, and performs discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
• Current CPR certification.
