Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Acute Care Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, establish plans of care, and deliver prescribed therapy aligned with APTA standards.

You will supervise clinical support staff, promote PT services across the organization, collaborate with the care team, and report to the department leader. This role offers student loan forgiveness and tuition assistance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.

• Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
• Reports to the assigned leader of department.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Active Physical Therapy license in State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience
