Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our clinical team at Bonne Vie- Port Arthur. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop measurable goals, and collaborate with physicians and staff to maximize patient independence.

Qualified candidates hold a degree from an accredited PT program and a current Texas PT license, with strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in Texas.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations using standard tools.
• Review patient records for diagnoses and medical history.
• Set measurable goals and develop treatment plans for independence.
• Supervise PTAs and rehab techs in line with state practice act.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and care teams.

Qualifications

Essential Functions:

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practice
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients' family members, and staff
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
