Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in San Antonio. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Performs a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plans to move the patient toward independence and function.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to patients, family, and the team.

$7,000 Sign on Bonus- FT

Qualifications

Essential Functions

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practice
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients' family members, and staff
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
