Job summary

UPMC in Pittsburgh is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and quality of life. You will educate patients and families and collaborate with a diverse clinical team.

New graduates are welcome and training is provided. This full-time role offers a schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, competitive compensation based on experience, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, and access to PSLF‑eligible

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
• Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planningCommunicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants
• Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education
• Rotate through treatment areas as needed
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development
• May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to help achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
