Zusammenfassung

UPMC is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call.

New graduates are welcome and training is available to the right candidate, and you will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate families to improve mobility and function. You will rotate through treatment areas, document outcomes, and collaborate with physicians.

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
• Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning
• Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants
• Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education
• Rotate through treatment areas as needed
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development
• May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to help achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
