Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments
  • Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
  • Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning
  • Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants
  • Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education
  • Rotate through treatment areas as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development
  • May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
No weekends No holidays No on-call

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to help achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
