Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions across diverse patient populations. You will monitor progress, educate families, and collaborate with physicians to optimize outcomes.

This full-time role offers weekday hours, with opportunities for teaching and clinical instruction. New graduates are welcome and training will be provided.

• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education.
• Rotate through treatment areas as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development.
• May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM at our clinics in our South Pod.

No weekends No holidays No on-call

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to help achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
