Palm Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) in Palm Springs, CA. The role offers a salary range of $99,840 - $124,800 with full-time or part-time options and a sign-on bonus. Qualifications include a California PT license and a degree in Physical Therapy (BSc/MSc/DPT). Clinical experience is preferred, new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California Physical Therapy license.
• Degree in Physical Therapy (BSc, MSc or DPT/PhD) from an accredited program.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Administer tests and measurements for strength, ROM, coordination, and respiration.
• Provide direct resident treatment per an established care plan.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Conduct home assessments as appropriate to ensure safe discharge.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care..
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
