Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Physical Therapist for travel assignments in Norfolk, VA. You will evaluate patients and provide and document therapy per the care plan and physician orders when applicable, with 40-hour weeks.

Applicants must hold a PT license in the state, graduate from an accredited PT program, and meet health and regulatory requirements. Travel positions offer competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
