Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for travel assignments in California. You will evaluate patients, provide and document therapy services according to the plan of care and physician orders, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

To qualify, you must hold a CA PT license, graduate from an accredited PT program, and have CPR and health clearance as required. Travel roles offer weekly pay and benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations.
• Provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care.
• Follow physician orders when applicable.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.
