Job summary

New-Vista-Nursing-and-Rehabilitation-Cente is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a full-time role in a sub-acute/long-term care setting. You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and administer PT modalities as prescribed by a physician.

Responsibilities include directing treatment, supervising staff, documenting progress, and ensuring infection control with PPE. A minimum of 2 years SNF experience is preferred and NJ PT license is required.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Physical Therapy License (Required).
• At least 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing setting.

Full Job Description

• Setting: Sub-Acute/Long-term Care setting.

• Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.

• Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.

• Assists in helping patients reach their maximum potential and learning how to work within their capabilities.

• The staff therapist will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and delegating responsibilities to the supportive staff.

• Ensures patient changes are documented accurately and on time.

• Responsible for maintaining and helping to enforce any infection control with cleaning equipment and wearing proper PPE in PUI rooms.

• Must have at least 2 years experience in Skilled Nursing Setting.
