Setting: Sub-Acute/Long-term Care setting.
Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
Assists in helping patients reach their maximum potential and learning how to work within their capabilities.
The staff therapist will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and delegating responsibilities to the supportive staff.
Ensures patient changes are documented accurately and on time.
Responsible for maintaining and helping to enforce any infection control with cleaning equipment and wearing proper PPE in PUI rooms.
Must have at least 2 years experience in Skilled Nursing Setting.
