Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Physical Therapy (PT) position to join our team of skilled therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting for a per diem Physical Therapist at Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Staten Island, New York. Our team provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym and offers mentorship, growth opportunities, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program

Current New York State PT License
