Sigma Health Rehab in Staten Island, NY is recruiting a weekend Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role focuses on evaluating residents, developing rehab plans, and providing hands-on therapy to relieve pain and improve function.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident's pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program

Current New York State PT License
