Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
• Per diem availability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Assist residents with tasks and monitor progress.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and professional requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support resident recovery.

• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort

PT Requirements Include:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
