Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Bronx, NY. You will evaluate residents, develop rehabilitation plans, and provide hands-on therapy to relieve pain and improve mobility.

Flexible schedules, mentorship, weekly pay, and access to state-of-the-art rehab technology are offered. New grads are welcome, with training available to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited Physical Therapy program seeking per diem roles.
• Current NY PT license required to practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve resident pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Assist residents through daily tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient progress.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program

Current New York State PT License
