Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Physical Therapy (PT) position to join our team of skilled therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting for a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) at Beth Abraham Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, located in Bronx, New York. Our team provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym and focuses on helping residents regain independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members &contributes to team effort

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program

Current New York State PT License
