Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to provide consultative and therapeutic services in inpatient rehabilitation, addressing musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and integumentary disorders. The role operates on a per diem/on-call schedule, typically 8am–4:30pm.

You will rotate through ICU, Step-down and Med-Surg units, collaborating with physicians and case managers to optimize discharge planning and patient outcomes while maintaining licensure and BCLS

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders.
• Performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal licensing and accrediting requirements.

The Physical Therapist I performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.

• Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.


• Current state Physical Therapy license.


• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Pay Transparency

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is a flat rate of $48.17/hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
