Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center is recruiting a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our professional team in California. The role offers a competitive salary and per diem/on-call arrangement with a sign-on bonus.

The PT will evaluate and treat patients within approved plans of care, maintain records, and support safe discharge with home assessments when needed.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy license.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan treatment for neuromuscular/musculoskeletal issues.
• Administer tests for muscle strength, ROM, coordination, respiration, and circulation.
• Provide direct patient care per care plans and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform home assessments to aid safe discharge planning.
• Complete forms and documentation per policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
