Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Physical Therapist for PRN assignments. You will evaluate and treat a designated patient population, using modalities and interventions to restore function and relieve pain across age groups.

You may guide PT assistants and provide staff orientation as needed in a dynamic rehab setting. The role requires graduation from an accredited PT program (BS, MS, or DPT), current Georgia PT license or compact privileges, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
