Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients within our facility in Georgia. You will perform evaluations, apply modalities, and design treatments aimed at maximizing independence and reducing pain.

You may mentor staff and coordinate with PT assistants to ensure high-quality patient care. Experience in physical therapy, an active Georgia license or compact privileges, and BCLS certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State
• 2 years of experience Preferred
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
