Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services in a collaborative setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations to improve function and reduce pain.

The successful candidate will hold a Georgia PT license (or compact privileges), have BCLS certification, and be prepared to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment within Piedmont Columbus Midtown.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS/MS/DPT).
• Maintain current CEUs as required by the State.
• Current Georgia PT license or compact privileges required; BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Provides patient care to all age groups (pediatric, adult, geriatric); may orient and guide assigned staff.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist, PRN, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
