Job summary

Motion Physical Therapy Group is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for PRN coverage in our Queens and Brooklyn clinics. You will assess movement dysfunction, design evidence-based plans, and deliver hands-on therapy to improve function.

This role offers flexible scheduling, access to AI tools, and strong professional development resources through Confluent Health. Qualified candidates have 1+ year outpatient orthopedic experience, CPR/First Aid, and a passion for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain license in state of practice)
• 1+ years of experience as licensed PT in outpatient orthopedic setting; no new grads
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Assess movement dysfunction through history and exam
• Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care aligned with patient goals
• Deliver interventions (exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, modalities) to improve function and reduce pain
• Track patient outcomes and adjust treatment based on progress
• Advocate for patients throughout recovery journey

Responsibilities

• Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence‑based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re‑education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
