Job summary

MOTION PT Group in Brooklyn Heights seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to join a high-performing outpatient team. Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or eligible in the practicing state).
• Evidence-based, patient-centered care approach.
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or clinical rotations for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assess movement dysfunction through history and exam.
• Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care with patient goals.
• Deliver interventions: therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, modalities.
• Track patient outcomes and adapt treatment plans.
• Advocate for patients throughout recovery journey.

Job Type

Part-time, Monday-Friday; flexible schedules, 16 hours per week. We’re happy to review scheduling options during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
• Passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Experience with general outpatient orthopedics, either as a licensed Physical Therapist or during clinical rotations for new graduates

Compensation

$53-$60/Hr. Benefits include paid sick leave, FEDlogic Benefit Navigation, Commuter FSA, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
